Corn is the backbone of Mexican cuisine and the lifeblood of Masienda. We've picked one of our favorite landrace varietals, white olotillo, as our first offering for home users. 

This corn is grown in the mountainous coastal region of Oaxaca and is the same corn we use to make our Masienda Bodega heirloom corn tortillas. It is the perfect starting point for home cooks looking to make masa; whether you are making tortillas, tamales or other antojitos.  

 

By accepting delivery of the landrace maize or heirloom beans associated with this order, recipient acknowledges and confirms that this Masienda product shall not be propagated, cultivated or resold in strict accordance with the Nagoya Protocol and state sales tax regulations.
